This position, man derives from his double nature: he has in him, through his upper

centres, a divine spark; through his lower centres, he is bound to the earth: thus, he

constitutes, in our Ray of Creation, a link between the Kingdom of Heaven (represented

in the schema by the upper right angle) and the Kingdom here below represented in the

schema by the lower right angle (fig. 3). These indications will enable the reader to
understand better why man's development so closely conditions the expansion of the

Ray of Creation. The entry into the Cycle of the Holy Ghost should not necessitate any

crisis like the one in which we are taking part today, since the passage from RE to DO
does not implicate the clearing of an interval. This crisis is due to the fact that humanity

faces today certain tasks linked with the resonance of the note DO; it has, nevertheless,

remained in an unstable position on the whole, suspended between FA and MI, since

only a part of it has crossed the interval over which the Mystery of Revelation should

                   have led it entirely.

The man, in our schema, represents the esoterically undeveloped one, that is he who
lives from the functioning of his under-developed lower centres – the man 1, 2 or 3, or
